JOHNSTONES TRADE – PLIOLITE BASED MASONRY FINISH
A solvent based paint that can be applied in temperatures of -5°c and is shower resistant in 20 minutes. 15+ years life expectancy* and is used widely on homes, buildings and lighthouses near the sea/along the coast due to its heavy durability and salt resistance.
Pliolite Masonry Paint : is a solvent based finish for use on exterior rendering, brick and concrete. It provides a matt finish which has excellent adhesion to previously painted or porous surfaces. It can also be used in temperatures as low as -20 degrees centigrade. Please download the manufacturer’s data sheet for full details.
Johnstone’s recommend only to employ the stabilising solution of friable and chalky surfaces, for porous surfaces they recommend a slightly thinning down coat of the Pliolite Masonry Paint to employ as a sealer.
