New BSA Unit Twins Late 1969 A50 & A65 Gear Change Cam Plate. Having trouble shifting? Transmission “poping” out of gear? Chances are your cam plate is worn. Cam plate measures approx .186″ thick. Referred to “after second sets” in the 1969 part book. Fits BSA A50 & A65 twins (Thunderbolt, Ios charging, Royal Star & Firebird Scrambler) for late 1969 only. Please refer to your parts catalog for proper fitment.
***Very Important***
Please note that this cam plate will not fit the “slot” on the bearing cover plate on 1962 -(early)1969 models as they used a “thinner” cam plate. Measure your slot to ensure this part will fit yours. We recommend polishing the ends on this part to give you a more positive shifting experience.
